As Four Hands, we believe that all children can have multicultural experiences through books. Our fly with your imagination series do just that. From the sales of our first two books, we are organising a reading workshop for schools in rural Colombia followed by a Christmas celebration including the books as gifts.
Where is Auntie is a beautiful book that is fun to follow and also gets children’s minds working. My children and I were excited to discover the history, sounds and animations included in the pages that bring Sri Lanka to life right in our living room in Australia. The best part is the surprise at the end of the book! We loved reading and discovering!!
This interactive, diverse and creative story allows children to experience the cultural awakening of travel from the comfort of their own homes. For parents desperate to catalyse children's imaginations and foster greater awareness for the world beyond their fingertips, this brilliant debut from the authors will not disappoint. Sri Lanka's culture, environment and way of life are succinctly captured and colourfully presented in the physical book, while the e-book transports you to the island through novel animations and vibrant sounds. What more could you want! Travel without traveling - parents will know exactly what I am talking about!
While going through and reading the book, my many and cherished memories took me back to the four beautiful years that I lived in Sri Lanka, the living paradise, where nature, culture, tradition and hospitality meet. This book certainly describes that and I am sure families will enjoy reading the book and getting Sri Lanka as part of their travel plans to experience the beauty of this country. Looking forward for the next publication. Congratulations to the author👌🏽
Very informative for parents who want to introduce their kids to other parts and cultures of the world. It’s not only animated but also interactive! Keeps both you and your kid(s) engaged! Loved it!
Con este libro conocimos y aprendimos mucho de este país tan lejano, desconocido y fascinante. Mi hijo de 5 años lo disfrutó muchísimo.
